A Chair and You: Bob Wilson stages immersive chair show at Mudac Lausanne
Mudac, the contemporary design and applied arts museum in Lausanne, is currently hosting an exhibit called "A Chair and You," featuring around 200 chairs from the collection of Thierry Barbier-Mueller, who sadly passed away at 62 last month due to a heart attack. Chantal Prod'hom, the former director, curated this immersive showcase, which is designed by the acclaimed Texan artist Bob Wilson and divided into four themed areas: Bright Space, Medium Space, Dark Space, and Kaleidoscope Space. These sections employ sound, light, and creative installations to present works by notable figures like Ettore Sottsass and Frank Gehry. You can check it out until February 26, 2023, at Mudac's new location at Place de la Gare 17 in the Plateforme 10 arts district, alongside Photo Elysée and MCBA.
