9th Book Day at Académie nationale de médecine: The Ultimate Work and Medicine
The Académie nationale de médecine in Paris will host its ninth Book Day on Friday, September 16, 2011, from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, revisiting the 2010 theme 'The Ultimate Work and Medicine.' New subjects include works by Manet, Klee, Dufy, Picasso, Caravaggio, Louis Bourgeois, Brancusi, Giacometti, and Pina Bausch. The program expands to theater with Cesare Capitani and Laetitia Favart performing 'Moi, Caravage,' and dance with Bénédicte Billiet presenting 'Les rêves dansants, Pina.'
