festival-fair · 2026-05-05

The 87th edition of the Fiera Internazionale del Tartufo Bianco d’Alba, running from September 23 to November 12, 2023, draws over 600,000 visitors to the Piedmont region. This year's program highlights the intersection of design, art, and fine gastronomy, with exhibitions and events across Alba. Key attractions include Tullio Pericoli's 'Le colline davanti' at the Chiesa Medievale di San Domenico (from September 23), Marina Abramović's exhibition at the Cortile della Maddalena (from September 28, supported by the Ceretto family), and Alessi's 'De Truffle' at Palazzo Banca d’Alba (from September 26). The Fondazione Bottari Lattes presents a retrospective of Renato Brazzani (from September 23) and 'Poeti/Pittori/Poeti' (from November 4). Other highlights include the Museo Federico Eusebio with archaeological and natural science collections, the Casa museo di Beppe Fenoglio, the Cattedrale di San Lorenzo, and the underground 'La Città Invisibile' archaeological site. Outside Alba, the Cappella del Barolo at La Morra, reinterpreted by Sol LeWitt and David Tremlett, and the Castello di Grinzane Cavour, hosting the World Auction of the White Truffle of Alba on November 12, are must-sees. The auction attracts international figures from politics, culture, and entertainment.
