8 New River Cruise Ships Debuting in 2026 and Beyond

River cruise lines are expanding rapidly, with several major operators announcing new vessels for 2026 and beyond. Celebrity Cruises enters the river market with Celebrity Compass (August 2027) and Celebrity Seeker (October 2027), each carrying 172 passengers on the Danube and Rhine, with plans for 20 river ships by 2031.
