8 Must-See Exhibitions at Venice Glass Week 2018
Venice Glass Week is set to run from September 9 to 16, 2018, with 150 participants, which is a 20% increase from last year. The event is put together by several organizations, including Comune di Venezia and Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia. For the first time, a scientific committee, led by Rosa Barovier Mentasti and including members like Chiara Bertola and Marco Verità, has selected the participants. Exciting exhibitions will feature "La Pelle del Vetro. Carlo Scarpa alla Venini 1936-1942" at Negozio Olivetti and "Homo Faber: Crafting a More Human Future" at Fondazione Giorgio Cini. There will also be events happening in Mestre and Murano.
