60th Venice Biennale Arsenale Highlights Textiles and Indigenous Knowledge

The 60th Venice Biennale's international exhibition at the Arsenale, titled "Foreigners Everywhere," foregrounds textiles—historically marginalized within fine arts—and artists connected by blood or marriage to emphasize the transmission of Indigenous knowledge. Featured artists include Daniel Otero Torres, River Claure, Aydée Rodríguez López, Elyla, Dalton Paula, Violeta Quispe, La Chola Poblete, Rember Yahuarcani, and Santiago Yahuarcani. The Biennale runs from April 20 to November 24, 2024, with summer hours (April 20–September 30) from 11 am to 7 pm, extended to 8 pm on Fridays and Saturdays at the Arsenale until September 30; autumn hours (October 1–November 24) from 10 am to 6 pm. Closed Mondays except on select dates. The exhibition is organized by La Biennale di Venezia.
