54th Villa de Fuente Álamo International Painting Contest Opens

The Fuente Álamo City Council, through its Department of Culture, has announced the 54th edition of the International Painting Contest Villa de Fuente Álamo de Murcia. The competition aims to promote, award, and disseminate contemporary painting. Artists of legal age of any nationality may participate with a single original work that has not been previously awarded or presented in other contests. Theme and technique are free, with maximum dimensions of 200 cm on the longest side and minimum of 100 cm on the shortest. Works must be unframed, mounted on a stretcher or protected with a wooden strip. Registration is via mundoarti.com until May 24, 2026. Two prizes are offered: the "Villa de Fuente Álamo de Murcia" award of €10,000 and the "Círculo Medina" award of €6,000.
