44 artists explore the concept of boundaries in Lucca exhibition

The Fondazione Ragghianti in Lucca is featuring an exhibition called 'Il passo sospeso. Esplorazioni del limite', which highlights the works of 44 artists, including names like Marina Abramović, Alighiero Boetti, and Lucio Fontana. Curated by Alessandro Romanini, this exhibition spans over fifty years of art history and connects with the city's ancient walls. It explores conceptual boundaries—between the known and unknown, different artistic styles, and time periods—though it doesn't primarily focus on current migration issues, aside from Leone Contini's piece 'Un popolo di trasmigratori' (2016). Notable works include a bronze equestrian sculpture by Gustavo Aceves and Lucio Fontana's 'Concetto spaziale' from 1957. The exhibition will take place in 2017.
