421 Announces Participants for 2023–24 Capacity Building Programmes
Abu Dhabi’s 421 has revealed the artists, curators, and collectives chosen for its capacity-building programs in 2023 and 2024. Among the 15 participants in the 2023 Curatorial Development Program are Lina Ramadan, Paribartana Mohanty, and Ritika Biswas. For the Artistic Research Grantees of 2023-24, the selected individuals include Yasamin Ghalehnoie, Aarti Sunder, the Pak Khawateen Painting Club, Lujaine Rizk, Asim Waqif, and Lantian Xie with Planetary Kunsthalle. The Homebound Residency Program for 2023 features Salem AlSuwaidi, Yara Al Asmar, and more. Over six months, this residency, with Sara bint Safwan as an interlocutor, will explore themes of community, urban spaces, and digital interactions.
