35 scatti Magnum celebrano la Puglia in mostra a Lecce

Hey! So, there's this exhibition called 'La Puglia vista dai fotografi dell’Agenzia Magnum' happening right now at the Fondazione Biscozzi|Rimbaud in Lecce. Walter Guadagnini, a photography historian and director of CAMERA in Turin, is curating it. You can check out 35 pieces from 12 renowned Magnum Photos photographers, like David Seymour, Ferdinando Scianna, and Martin Parr. It kicks off with Seymour’s black-and-white shots from when he co-founded the agency in 1947. Then you’ll see works by Herbert List and David Hurn that reflect the revival of the '50s and '60s. There are also colorful images from Ian Berry and Burt Glinn showcasing Puglia’s natural and architectural beauty. Plus, you’ll find scenes of local jobs by Bruno Barbey, Stuart Franklin, and Guy Le Querrec, while Martin Parr humorously captures today’s mass tourism. Lastly, Ferdinando Scianna, the first Italian Magnum photographer, spent over 30 years highlighting the region’s enduring traditions and architecture.
