33 Artists Selected for 2026 Border Biennial in El Paso and Ciudad Juárez
The El Paso Museum of Art and Museo de Arte de Ciudad Juárez have announced that the 2026 Border Biennial will feature the works of 33 artists. This annual event, beginning September 4 at EPMA and September 5 at MACJ, has been celebrated since 2010. Organized by the City of El Paso’s Museums and Cultural Affairs Department in partnership with the Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes y Literatura, this year’s theme, “Imagining the Border,” will focus on daily life along the border. Artists Cassandra Adame and Vanessa Alvarado are among those participating in this significant cultural showcase.
