30 Artists Install Works Under Rome's Ponte Marconi for 'There Is No Place Like Home'
The fourth edition of the pop-up art series 'There Is No Place Like Home' is staged under the Ponte Marconi on the Tiber River in Rome, running from September 16 to 30, 2016. The project, which ironically calls home marginal and forgotten spaces, features 30 international artists with installations and videos set on a fishing boat and among the reeds along the riverbank. Artists include Luigi Ontani, Nico Vascellari, Masbedo, Liliana Moro, Michael Fliri, Jonathan Monk, Ludovica Carbotta, and Daniele Puppi. A performance schedule is planned for the first weekend and September 28. The series began with 29 artists in a construction site on Via Aurelia, continued in Venice during the Biennale at the Polveriera dell'Isola delle Vignole, and later in Rome's Valle Aurelia. Free entry from 10 am to 12 pm and 4 pm to 11 pm.
