29th Printemps des Rues Festival Returns with Free Street Performances in Paris

The 29th edition of Le Printemps des Rues, a pioneering street arts festival in Paris, will take place on May 30-31 in the 10th, 18th, and 19th arrondissements. Founded in 1997, the festival attracts an average of 5,000 attendees annually, primarily from Paris and the Île-de-France region. The program includes free performances such as a corporate executive's descent without a safety line, a swimming competition by the pool, a TV presenter going beyond the airwaves, a juggling sailor, a triporteur making circles, dream builders, a post-contemporary opera-punk, a quirky lecture, a love story that doesn't always last, dancers clinging to a mast, and a psychoanalyst with acute logorrhea. The festival also features reflections on gender equality and a scalpel dissection of human and social relations.
