27th Anticoli Corrado Painting Prize Returns with Themes of Seduction and Enigma

award · 2026-08-09

The 27th Premio dell’Arte – Premio di Pittura di Anticoli Corrado is scheduled to occur from 19 September to 20 October 2026 at Spazio Arte in Piazza Santa Vittoria, Anticoli Corrado (RM). Organized by the Comune and the Civico Museo d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea, this award honors the town's rich artistic heritage, which attracted prominent Italian and international artists in the 20th century, such as Fausto Pirandello and Felice Carena. This year, the scientific committee has chosen two themes: "Seduzione" and "Enigma," inspired by the town's appeal and Attilio Selva's piece 'Enigma' in the museum. The committee includes Laura Barbarini and others. The exhibition opens on 19 September, where ten finalists will compete for cash prizes and artist residency opportunities. Applications are accepted until 25 August at [email protected].
