24 ORE Cultura relaunches historic Libri Scheiwiller publishing house
The renowned Libri Scheiwiller publishing house, founded in Milan in 1977 by Vanni Scheiwiller, has been given a new lease on life thanks to 24 ORE Cultura. This revival, which was in the works before the pandemic, aims to broaden 24 ORE Cultura's range to include titles without illustrations. The updated catalog showcases returning series like Idee and L'Arte e le Arti, along with a new series named Interviews, drawing inspiration from Andy Warhol’s 1970s work. The first two volumes, released on June 10, 2021, feature contemporary architecture by Fulvio Irace and design by Matteo Vercelloni. Graphic redesign was led by Mario Piazza, while editorial director Chiara Savino sees it as a perfect venue for new arts discourse. Upcoming titles include works by Maurizio Luvizone and Bernard Aikema, with a history of publishing influential authors like Eugenio Montale.
