24 Artists Explore Online Life at Fondation EDF Paris

The Fondation EDF in Paris presents "Moi et les autres – regards d'artistes sur nos vies en ligne," an exhibition featuring 24 artists examining online sociability. Co-curated by Aurélie Clemente-Ruiz, the show is divided into three sections: "Ego," "Alter," and "Holo," moving from the intimate to the global. Works include Neïl Beloufa's "Saving a colleague in a war zone" (MDF, leather, synthetic leather, LEDs), Magalie Mobetie's "Mourning clouds, will we all end up in the cloud(s)?" (2022), Marilou Poncin's photographic series "Être belles comme elles" (2023) where she impersonates Kim Kardashian, Laurent Grasso's "Panoptes" (2026) featuring neon eyes, Ben Grosser's "Not For You" (2020) critiquing TikTok algorithms, Katherine Longly's "Failed I Have, In Exile I Must Go" (2020-2023) on hikikomori, and Philippe Parreno's "Speech Bubbles" (1997). Camille Roth, an online communities specialist, contributed to the interview, noting that the exhibition aims to illustrate online sociability and the gap between online and offline interactions. Clemente-Ruiz emphasized that artists now use the internet as both theme and tool. The exhibition runs until September 27, 2026.
