24/7 Art Gallery Opens in Milan with Massimo Uberti Show

exhibition · 2026-05-04

Rossana Ciocca has launched A view not a window, a new art space in Milan at via Donatello 7, designed for site-specific projects viewable 24 hours a day due to its corner window format. The inaugural exhibition features Massimo Uberti's 'LOVED SPACE If you’ve a black day, turn on the light,' with gold-leaf walls and a neon-lit chair. Uberti's work is divided into four sections: Spazio Amato, Essere Spazio, Altro Spazio, and Spazio Necessario; only the first is currently shown. Ciocca plans to exhibit the other sections in other Milan venues and produce a catalog. The second intervention is scheduled for November. The space opens two years after Ciocca's previous gallery in via Lecco 15 closed in 2016, which had opened in 2004 with a solo show by Helidon Gjergji. Recent projects included exhibitions by Kensuke Koike, Tommaso Binga, and Fabrizio Bellomo. Ciocca also co-founded Art City Lab in 2017 with Gianni Romano.
