23 Living by Plan:b arquitectos in Medellín
Plan:b arquitectos, led by Felipe Mesa and Federico Mesa, designed 23 Living, a 6,400 m² collective housing project completed in 2019 in Medellín, Colombia. Located in the Provenza neighborhood on the city's eastern slope, the elongated, steeply sloping lot prompted the architects to incorporate a public stepped pathway on the south side that crosses the block, shortening pedestrian routes. The project was curated by Valentina Díaz, with art direction and interior design by Estudio Liberal (Sara Restrepo, Felipe Hoyos). Construction was carried out by Ménsula Ingeniería, with structuring by Ménsula Ingeniería, Banca Valor, and Acrecer, the client. Photography by Alejandro Arango Escobar.
