206 – the Unknownow Gallery Opens in Bari's San Pasquale District

exhibition · 2026-05-05

A new contemporary art gallery, 206 – the Unknownow Gallery, has opened in Bari's San Pasquale district, an area previously unexplored by the art scene. The 380-square-meter space, a former auto repair shop at Via dei Mille 206, was renovated over a year starting November 2016 by a team led by artist and set designer Pierluigi Bosna, graffiti writer Michele Calderoni, and web services entrepreneur Natale Sciaqua. The gallery aims to promote emerging and outsider artists, with a focus on street art, and is backed by the Hell's Vastas crew, which recently joined the historic New York TFP crew. The inaugural public opening was on December 15, 2017, featuring Dutch writer SAME, followed by a formal inauguration on January 13, 2018, with a solo show by Apulian artist Margherita Ragno, accompanied by a text by Eugenio Vendemiale. Future plans include bimonthly exhibitions, workshops, performances, talks, book and record presentations, and a co-working space.
