2027 BMW 7 Series Unveiled in Beijing and New York
On April 22, BMW introduced the 2027 7 Series simultaneously in Beijing and New York City, describing it as the "most extensive model update" in the brand's history. The exterior showcases a refined front design featuring a revamped illuminated kidney grille and new two-part headlights. Inside, the vehicle boasts BMW's Panoramic iDrive, a 3-D head-up display, a 17.9-inch center touchscreen, a 14.6-inch display for passengers, and a 31.3-inch rear Theater Screen. Available powertrains consist of gasoline, plug-in hybrid, and electric variants. The gas models, 740 and 740 xDrive, are equipped with a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V-6 engine generating 394 hp. The electric i7 50 xDrive and i7 60 xDrive deliver 449 hp and 536 hp, respectively. Production is set to commence this summer, with pricing between $101,350 and $126,250.
