2026 Rafael Ramos García International Photography Prize Open for Entries

The University of La Laguna, through its Vice-Rectorate for Culture and University Extension, has announced the 2026 edition of the Rafael Ramos García International Photography Prize. The competition is open to artists of any nationality or residence, with previous winners barred from entering until three editions have passed. Participants may submit up to one series (four photographs) and one individual photograph. Entries must be submitted online via Mundoarti by September 4, 2026. A jury will preselect works based on technical skill, creativity, originality, and presentation quality. Finalists must deliver physical prints (max 40x50 cm) to the university's address in La Laguna, Tenerife. Prizes include €800 for the best individual photograph and €2,500 for the best series, each accompanied by a bronze statuette of San Fernando by sculptor Juan Carlos Albaladejo and a diploma. Selected works will be exhibited and published in a catalogue.
