2026 LVMH Prize Finalists Announced with First Kenyan Designer

The LVMH Prize has reduced its list of contenders for 2026 from 20 to nine finalists after evaluation by more than 80 industry professionals. The selected finalists include Colleen Allen (United States), De Pino by Gabriel Figueiredo (France), Institution by Galib Gassanoff (Georgia), Julie Kegels (Belgium), Lii by Zane Li (China), Petra Fagerström (Sweden), Ponte by Harry Pontefract (United Kingdom), THEVXLLEY by Daniel del Valle Fernandez (Spain), and Yoshita 1967 by Anil Padia (Kenya). Delphine Arnault, the founder of the LVMH Prize and CEO of Christian Dior Couture, emphasized the shortlist's international diversity, marking the first Kenyan participant. New jury members include Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez from Loewe, while the final event will take place on September 4 at the Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris.
