19 Under-30 Italian Artists Debut at Casa Testori in Milan

Casa Testori in Novate Milanese presents 'La prima volta,' a group show of 19 artists all born after 1995, many exhibiting for the first time. Curated by Marta Cereda, the exhibition revives the ground floor of the villa, continuing the foundation's 15-year commitment to emerging talent. The show features works by Sara Lorusso (photographic diary), Roberto De Pinto (anthropomorphic poppies in charcoal and encaustic), Erica Bardi (octopus tentacle on a breast), Agnese Galiotto (preparatory cartoons for demolished frescoes reassembled), Federica Mariani (video inspired by Margaret Cavendish), Alice Pilusi (decadent cake sculptures), Ilaria Simeone (pocket-sized herbarium paintings), Pietro Guglielmin (hedge-like layered canvas with enamel scales), and Giulia Querin (pastel-colored hands scattered throughout). The exhibition runs from June 2024 at Casa Testori, which previously launched careers of Gian Maria Tosatti, Davide Rivalta, and Andrea Mastrovito through its 'Giorni Felici' cycle (2010–2014).
