Dior Maison has brought together 17 global artists to give a fresh take on the legendary Medallion chair, set to be unveiled at Salone del Mobile in Milan from September 5-10, 2021, following an 18-month break due to the pandemic. Originally selected by Christian Dior for his fashion presentations, this Louis XVI style chair is crafted from beech wood sourced from the Vosges forests, requiring the expertise of 20 artisans over 50 hours and utilizing at least 200 tools.
