16 International Artists Present 'Una linea storta tesa' at Villa Medici in Rome

At Villa Medici, sixteen international artists have come together for the exhibition 'Una linea storta tesa' (A Crooked Stretched Line), under the curation of Saverio Verini. This showcase, which will be open from June 10 to August 6, 2023, includes a variety of artistic expressions such as landscape studies, feminist themes, dioramas, music, video, poetry, and photography. The title captures the residency's non-linear journey, where artists from various backgrounds engaged in creative dialogue, inspired by the enchanting setting of the historic villa. Central to the exhibition is the city of Rome. Featured artists are Samir Amarouch, Mounir Ayache, Yasmina Benabderrahmane, and others. Verini has arranged the works to reflect a narrative filled with intriguing twists, highlighting both pre-existing and newly formed stories.
