14 Italian Independent Spaces Selected for ArtVerona 2019's 10th Anniversary
ArtVerona 2019, celebrating its 15th edition, also marks the 10th anniversary of its Spazi Indipendenti section, curated by Cristiano Seganfreddo. The section features 14 Italian project spaces responding to the theme "Release," focusing on experimentation outside institutional frameworks. Participants include AL MARE (Turin), Bite The Saurus (Naples), CampoBase (Turin), CASTROPROJECTS (Rome), Conversation Piece (Milan), Flip Project (Naples), M.Ar.Co (Monza), Numero Cromatico (Rome), Project Radio London (Terni), Simposio (Borca di Cadore), Spazio Cordis (Verona), Spazio Siena (Siena), Toast Project Space (Florence), and Yellow (Varese). Each space presents unique projects ranging from sound archives and performative markets to participatory actions and cognitive studies. The fair takes place at Veronafiere, Pavilions 11 and 12, from October 11 to 13, 2019.
