11th Lyon Biennale Curated by Victoria Noorthoorn Opens with Literary and Theatrical Focus

The 11th Lyon Biennale, titled "Une terrible beauté est née," is taking place from September 15 to December 31, 2011, under the direction of Thierry Raspail and the curation of Victoria Noorthoorn. This exhibition is hosted at several venues, including the Sucrière, Fondation Bullukian, Musée d'art contemporain de Lyon, and T.A.S.E. factory. Noorthoorn prioritizes individual artists rather than regional representation, drawing inspiration from W.B. Yeats's poem "Easter" (1916).
