111 original comic book pages by Marvel and DC stars on show in Pordenone

The PAFF! Palazzo Arti Fumetto Friuli in Pordenone hosts 'Masters of MARVEL & DC', an exhibition featuring 111 original comic book pages by legendary artists including Bob Kane, Jack Kirby, John Buscema, Alan Davis, Neil Adams, and Alex Ross. The show, which opened on February 1 and runs until March 14, 2021, is divided thematically with a red path for Marvel and a blue one for DC. Highlights include a 1945 Batman and Robin page by Bob Kane, three original drawings by Alex Ross, and a section dedicated to Alan Moore's 'Watchmen'. The exhibition is also accessible online via a virtual reality tour with 23 panoramic 360° images and high-definition zoomable scans. Curator and PAFF! director Giulio De Vita stated that the virtual experience aims to reach international audiences and demonstrates cultural resilience during the pandemic.
