11 collateral events announced for 2025 Venice Architecture Biennale

The 2025 Venice Architecture Biennale, curated by Carlo Ratti and titled 'Intelligens. Natural. Artificial. Collective,' will feature 11 official collateral events across Venice. Opening May 10, 2025, the Biennale includes over 750 participants and 280 projects. Among the events: Institut Ramon Llull presents 'Water Parliaments' at Docks Cantieri Cucchini, addressing water management in Catalonia and the Balearic Islands. UNESCO hosts 'Deep Surfaces' at Palazzo Zorzi, focusing on enhancing visitor experience at World Heritage sites. The EUmies Awards by Fundació Mies van der Rohe showcase top architecture theses at Palazzo Mora. At Palazzo delle Prigioni, the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts presents 'NON-Belief: Taiwan Intelligens of Precarity.' The Macao Museum of Art and Hong Kong Institute of Architects Biennale Foundation also mount exhibitions at the Arsenale. The Almusalla Prize, organized with Diriyah Biennale Foundation, reveals its winning design for a prayer space. Fondation Cartier brings Jean Nouvel's exhibition to San Giorgio Maggiore, featuring plans for its future Paris headquarters. Palazzo Diedo hosts 'The Next Earth Computation, Crisis, Cosmology' on climate crisis. Platform Earth presents 'The SKYWALK' at Ocean Space. Virginia Tech Honors College presents 'unEarthed / Second Nature / PolliNATION' at Giardini della Marinaressa. The Biennale runs through November 2025.
