10th 3M Art Show in Ibirapuera Park Features Immersive Installations Exploring Nature and Urban Space

The 10th 3M Art Show, titled 'Lugar Comum: travessias e coletividades na cidade,' presents ten new installations across São Paulo's Ibirapuera Park. Curated by Camila Bechelany, the exhibition features works by six invited and four selected artists, creating a progressive immersion into sound and perception. Lenora de Barros contributes an earcology piece with a speaking drone and sound boxes, reciting a poem based on John Cage's philosophy. Cinthia Marcelle's 'Geografia' reverses water flow into the lake, while Camila Sposati's 'Teatro Parque Arqueológico' offers a sonic, performative intervention. Maré de Matos's 'O Púlpito Público' and Rafael RG's tribute to Harriet Tubman engage with public voice and historical narratives. Luiza Crosman and Diran Castro address gentrification and decolonization. The Coletivo Foi à Feira invites visitors to record messages about future cities. Works by Narcíso Rosário and the duo Gabriel Scapinnelli and Otávio Monteiro incorporate land art and social sculpture. The exhibition runs until May 30, 2026, emphasizing acoustic ecology and urban collectivity.
