10 Italian Summer Festivals to Watch in 2021

Starting April 26, 2021, cultural sites across Italy will begin to reopen, with various summer festivals set to take place. The Lago Film Fest, scheduled for July 23–August 1 in Revine Lago, is expected to draw over 15,000 attendees. The CROSS Festival will be held on Lake Maggiore from June 11–27, showcasing dance and performing arts. In Pinerolo, Musica in Prossimità will feature electronic music on June 18–19 and July 2–3. The Gita al Faro literary festival on Ventotene island will celebrate its tenth edition from June 22–27. Torino a Cielo Aperto will host events from June 15 to September 30, while the Villae Film Festival is set for July 12–18 and September 6–12. The GENERA festival in Rome will run from June to September, the Linea Festival in Puglia is on July 9–11, and the In-Box festival in Siena will occur from June 10–16, with the FAROUT festival in Milan taking place from June 10 to July 24.
