10 Italian September Festivals: From Live Cinema to Archifestivals

In September 2021, Italy experiences a revival of various festivals celebrating digital art, music, architecture, design, and sustainability. The Live Cinema Festival is set to take place at Palazzo Brancaccio in Rome from September 23 to 26, showcasing over 20 artists from more than ten countries. In South Tyrol, Transart will run from September 9 to 24, featuring notable acts such as Laurie Anderson and Peaches. The Ricci Weekender, founded by Gilles Peterson, occurs from September 9 to 12 in Castiglione di Sicilia and Catania. Valle Camonica hosts d'ADA Arte Architettura Design from September 4 to October 2, with contributions from Salvatore Settis and Mario Botta. Other events include the Festival delle Ville Vesuviane (September 4–25), Earthink Festival in Turin (September 11–19), and Fabbrica Europa in Florence (September 2–October 17). Additionally, BiArch – Bari International Archifestival runs from September 1 to 20, and Barocco e Neobarocco is scheduled for September 24–26 in Ragusa. Milan will debut Co_atto un_fair #1.
