1-54 New York Contemporary African Art Fair Returns for 10th Edition
The 10th iteration of the 1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair is scheduled to occur at The Starrett-Lehigh Building in Chelsea, New York, from May 1 to May 4, 2024. This year’s event will showcase 32 galleries from Europe, Africa, and the United States, with eight of them participating for the first time. Notable events include a Press Preview on May 1 and a VIP Preview on May 2. Touria El Glaoui, the Founding Director, shared her enthusiasm for the fair’s return following last year's achievements. Recognized as the premier global series focused on contemporary African art and its diaspora, the fair takes place annually in London, New York, and Marrakech.
