1:54 Contemporary African Art Fair Announces New York Pop-Up Edition at Pioneer Works

1:54 Contemporary African Art Fair will launch a New York pop-up edition from May 15-17, 2015, coinciding with Frieze New York. The event will be hosted at Pioneer Works: Center for Art and Innovation, a nonprofit organization situated in a 19th-century factory in Red Hook, Brooklyn. Koyo Kouoh will lead the 1:54 NY Forum, a series of talks and panel discussions, alongside a public program featuring various social events. This marks the fair's expansion beyond its London origins, where it first debuted at Somerset House during Frieze London in 2013 and 2014. The third London edition is scheduled for October 15–18, 2015.
