080 Barcelona Fashion Week Showcases Independent Designers and Local Identity

The 37th edition of 080 Barcelona Fashion Week featured 26 designers, ranging from established names like Custo Barcelona and Adolfo Dominguez to emerging labels such as Boulard, XV Strange, and AAA Studio. Marta Coca, director of 080 Barcelona, emphasized the event's goal to differentiate itself from traditional fashion capitals by fostering greater creative freedom and questioning relentless production cycles. Carlo Doblas from Madrid explored themes of collapse and oppression through sculpted tailoring and sparkling dresses. Dominnico, designed by Domingo Rodrigo Lazaro, celebrated its 10th anniversary with a vibrant, gender-fluid show attended by notable figures including Violet Chacki and Sarah Paulson.
