Artistic Guide to the Verano Cemetery in Rome
The Monumental Cemetery of Verano in Rome is often seen as an open-air museum, rich in symbolist and verist sculptures. The main entrance features four female marble figures: Silence by Giuseppe Blasetti, Prayer and Meditation by Francesco Fabi Altini, and Hope by Stefano Galletti, all sculpted between 1878 and 1887.
