Volunteer Art Project in Nicaragua Leads to Photo Book Publication
In June 2012, a group led by Jeff and Stelli Munnis traveled to San Ramon, Nicaragua, through the nonprofit Seeds of Learning to work on a school construction project. Participants painted walls, built a kitchen, and created pathways. The experience inspired artist Veronica Winters to produce a photo book titled 'Eyes to See: U.S. Volunteers in Nicaragua,' featuring over 100 images documenting the trip and Nicaraguan life. The book aims to showcase the country's culture and encourage support for educational initiatives.
