VELKRO's 'Paperwork' Project: Geometric Alphabet Booklets Inspired by Bruno Munari

On October 30, 2021, designer VELKRO introduced a personal project called 'Paperwork,' a collection of 36 handcrafted booklets with removable pages. This work functions as an alphabet book where letters and numbers emerge through overlapping geometric shapes in seven bold colors. The project demonstrates VELKRO's skills in graphic design, editorial layout, and typography. It pays homage to Bruno Munari's 'Libri Illeggibili' series, which experiments with cut colored sheets. The interactive booklets reveal characters through layered cut-outs, creating a visual exploration of form and color.
