USPS Reissues Mister Rogers Stamp After Winning Popularity Contest
The USPS is reissuing a 2018 Mister Rogers stamp after it won the Stamp Encore competition by over 40,000 votes. The stamp, designed by Derry Noyes with a photo by Walt Seng, shows Fred Rogers in a red cardigan alongside puppet King Friday XIII. The original 12-million print run sold out within weeks. A new souvenir sheet featuring four additional stamps with other characters from the show is now on sale at the Boston 2026 World Exposition and will be available online from June 1, 2026.
