Tara Bernerd's Global Hospitality Design Practice and New Monograph

Interior architect Tara Bernerd, founder of the London-based studio Tara Bernerd & Partners, has published a new monograph titled 'Tara Bernerd: A Design Journey' with Rizzoli. The book documents eleven recent international projects spanning hotels, spas, restaurants, and residences. Bernerd's practice, active for nearly 25 years, emphasizes deep engagement with local context and craftsmanship. Recent work includes the Six Senses Milan opening this fall, The Perigon residential tower in Miami with OMA, the Maroma Belmond hotel in Riviera Maya, Rosewood Munich, and The Hari Hong Kong. Bernerd cites travel and cultural immersion as fundamental to her design philosophy, which avoids thematic literalism in favor of creating atmospheres that resonate emotionally with place.
