cultural-heritage · 2026-06-21

The Swabian Castle of Trani in Apulia, Italy, has launched a new multimedia and experiential itinerary, officially unveiled at a presentation event. The project is part of a broader conservation and redevelopment strategy coordinated by architect Anita Guarnieri, who served as Director of the castle during the planning phase and is now Director of the Apulian National Museums. Three new exhibition installations were created by the Milan-based studio Dotdotdot. The event was attended by Trani's mayor Marco Galiano and the mayor of the province of Barletta-Andria-Trani (BAT), Amedeo Bottaro. The initiative focuses on interpretation and visitor experience, involving conservation, reorganization, cataloging, and digitization of the site's historical and artistic heritage.
