Spanish director Noel Alejandro has released a new film titled The Mirror, which examines the emotional consequences of a relationship ending. The 33-minute avant-garde erotic drama, starring Marco Merenda, Bast, and Raúl Gordillo, uses sexual expression as a narrative device to delve into themes of desire, memory, and fantasy. It was filmed and edited in Barcelona, is available in English and Spanish with subtitles, and can be accessed on the director's website starting March 20, 2026. Alejandro, founder of the independent studio Bedtime Stories, aims to challenge traditional portrayals of gay erotic cinema by integrating explicit content with psychological storytelling about male relationships.
