Spain's 2008-born youth can now apply for €400 Cultural Bonus
Starting today until October 31, individuals born in 2008 can apply for Spain's Bono Cultural Joven, a €400 cultural voucher. For the first time, applicants can choose between two modalities: allocate the full amount to a single category (cultural courses, musical instruments, or artistic materials) or distribute it across live arts/audiovisuals/heritage (up to €200), physical cultural products (up to €100), and digital consumption (up to €100). Eligible are those turning 18 in 2026 with Spanish nationality or legal residency, including asylum seekers and temporary displaced persons. An estimated 561,459 potential beneficiaries exist nationwide. The card is valid for one year at 3,952 affiliated entities. The program has a total budget of €170 million. Since 2022, 1,298,764 young people have benefited, with annual recipients growing from 277,607 in 2022 to 363,054 in 2025.
