Sky Arte Premieres Documentary on Baroque Art Inspired by Forlì Exhibition

Sky Arte will debut the documentary 'Barocco – Il gran teatro delle idee' on March 19, 2026. The film draws from an exhibition at the Museo Civico San Domenico in Forlì, which runs until June 28, 2026, featuring around 200 works across painting, sculpture, architecture, and decorative arts. Curated by Daniele Benat and others, the documentary, written and hosted by Melania Rossi and produced by Ballandi and EGE Produzioni, explores Baroque as a 'laboratory of modernity' and its influence on 20th-century artists like De Chirico and Francis Bacon.
