Sigma Foundation's third book honors experimental photographer Trevor Key

The Sigma Foundation has announced its third publication, a monograph dedicated to British experimental photographer Trevor Key (active 1972–1995). The 244-page book, titled Trevor Key, features an essay by curator Charlotte Cotton and an interview between Cotton and celebrated art director Peter Saville, who collaborated with Key on album covers and independent image-making. The volume highlights Key's radical analogue darkroom experiments from the mid-1980s, which produced vibrant, abstract images that remain contemporary. Printed by Hakko Bijutsu in an edition of 1,500 copies (213 x 285 x 24.5mm), the book is scheduled for release around August. The Sigma Foundation was established in July 2025 by Sigma Corporation president Kazuto Yamaki to support photography as art. Previous titles include Hanataba by Sølve Sundsbø and Songen by Julia Hetta.
