Santa Mònica in Barcelona Opens 2026 Internship Applications for Exhibition and Communication Roles

Santa Mònica in Barcelona has launched internship opportunities for 2026, targeting university students and recent graduates seeking entry into cultural professions. Applications will be accepted from April 1 to April 15, 2026, with selected candidates beginning their placements on September 15, 2026. The program offers two distinct tracks: one supporting the Exhibitions Unit and another assisting the Communication Unit. Interns in the Exhibitions Unit will gain experience in exhibition coordination, production, material research, documentation, image rights management, and the creation of project-related content. Those in the Communication Unit will work on text writing, digital content creation, image and video editing, social media management, and publication tasks to promote the center's activities. Each internship lasts approximately eleven months, requiring a 35-hour weekly commitment with flexible scheduling between 10:00 and 19:00. Participants receive a gross monthly stipend of 1,250 euros, providing a paid professional learning experience. Eligibility is primarily for students who have completed at least 120 university credits or recent graduates with backgrounds in artistic, humanities, or communication fields. These positions aim to deliver practical training and initial professional exposure within a cultural institution.
