Salón Nacional closes, Parque Memorial to open by 2027 in Colombia

The Salón Nacional exhibition closed in December 2024, the Escuela Itinerante finishes its third cycle this year, and the Parque Memorial will inaugurate its first phase with completion scheduled for 2027. These three processes are ending as the current administration concludes; a new government takes office in August. Alejandra Sarria, coordinator of the Visual Arts Group at the Ministry of Culture, discusses the legacy left in the territories and who will inherit that memory.
