Russian attack damages Kyiv's Dormition Cathedral and film archive
A massive Russian missile and drone attack on Kyiv on Sunday night severely damaged the Dormition Cathedral (Pechersk Lavra) within the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra monastery complex, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1990 and a key example of Ukrainian Baroque architecture.
