RiBo 104 Art Residence in Mondaino Blends Living Space with Cultural Production

RiBo 104, an art residence in Mondaino, Romagna, opened on October 22, 2022, transforming a historic building into a hybrid space for artistic creation, exhibition, and community engagement. Founded by Daniela Rigotti and Ambrogio Borsani, the project occupies a restored 17th-century structure adjacent to a former convent, featuring seven exhibition rooms across multiple levels. The permanent collection includes over seventy works by Lombard and Trentino artists, alongside ethnographic displays in a subterranean grotto. RiBo 104 has hosted socially engaged projects addressing themes like violence against women and migration, with future plans for new artistic collaborations. The initiative emphasizes cultural and social objectives over commercial interests.
