New Publication Analyzes Modern Readings of Classical Authors Virgil and Ovid

A new book titled 'Virgilio è urgente. Lettori moderni dei classici' has been published by Interlinea in Novara. The work is authored by Roberto Andreotti, who serves as editor for the cultural supplement 'Alias Domenica' of the newspaper 'Il Manifesto'. The publication examines contemporary interpretations of ancient Roman poets Virgil and Ovid. In a concluding note, scholar Piero Boitani, current director of the Valla-Mondadori series, describes the text as a study of literary criticism about literary criticism.
